About Scottsdale Healthcare

A nonprofit organization, Scottsdale Healthcare was founded in 1962 as City Hospital of Scottsdale. Today we serve the entire Northeast Valley and beyond through our three campuses, three hospitals, outpatient centers, home health services and a wide range of community health education and outreach programs.

Striving to ensure that our residents and visitors have equal access to all system facilities, Scottsdale Healthcare participates in most major health plans.

Why Work at Scottsdale Healthcare?

We only employ the brightest and the best pharmacists to work in our hospitals. We are committed to providing a long-term relationship with our staff and continuously reward them through recognition, support, strong leadership and outstanding benefits.

So why do pharmacists choose to work at Scottsdale Healthcare?

We are committed to teaching and providing continuing education for our current pharmacists and those considering future employment with us. Scottsdale Healthcare’s PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program has been in existence since 2003 and is accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

Pharmacy Services currently offers two PGY1 Pharmacy Resident positions. Pharmacy residents rotate between the Scottsdale Healthcare Shea and the Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn campuses.

The residency is designed to assist pharmacists in obtaining established goals and objectives in accordance with standards established by the ASHP through the Residency Learning Service (RLS) program. Pharmacists must be licensed or obtain a license within 60 (sixty) days of beginning the Residency.
