About Cobre Valley Community Hospital

Cobre Valley Community Hospital (CVCH) is a community based acute care, non-profit, 49-bed hospital dedicated to creating a healthy community and a strong health care delivery system. CVCH is the sole community provider for a diverse population from young Native Americans to active retirees from the communities of Globe, Miami, Claypool, Roosevelt, San Carlos, Hayden, Winkleman, Kearny, Superior, Tonto Basin, and Young, Arizona.

The pharmacy at Cobre Valley Community Hospital provides extensive inpatient and outpatient services. The pharmacy is open to the public from 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.

CVCH staffs the ancillary support with top-notch talent and you will work with a staff of certified technicians who are adept at order entry, stocking, and keeping the pharmacy running smoothly. This ensures your complete commitment to more clinical activities such as preparing IV solutions, participating in clinical monitoring, D.U.E., dosing services, and counseling patients on medications.

As a pharmacist, you are able to be actively involved in the P&T committee or organizations that work to promote teamwork and advance the care given at the hospital. CVCH not only supports these efforts but the management team encourages ideas that bring innovative measures to providing quality care to their patients.

Pharmacists at CVCH have the ability to learn all aspects of practicing in a hospital pharmacy and will work collaboratively to provide excellent customer service and patient care. New pharmacy graduates are welcome, along with experienced pharmacists who have been practicing in a staff role but are looking for a chance to further their knowledge and expand into a clinical position.

Our hospital not only offers a unique and challenging environment for pharmacists but we also offer additional benefits specific to the position including, pay for continuing education, license renewal, and pharmacy association dues.
