“In accepting a leadership opportunity with Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS), I had chosen an employer that best reflected the progress and energy that matched my philosophy of advancing Pharmacy practice.
The Department of Pharmacy Services within MIHS enjoys the benefit of established, common-sense workflow practices and a number of distributed clinical, hardware and support resources. As a result, our staff is able to perform beyond the standard function of dispensing services, and contribute as an expert of therapeutic knowledge in a multidisciplinary environment.”

CLINICAL EDUCATION
The resident may serve as a clinical co-preceptor in the experiential learning program for Doctor of Pharmacy Candidates from several major Colleges/Schools of Pharmacy. The resident provides inservice education to Pharmacists, Nurses, Physicians, Allied health professionals, students and patients as needed.
